Eyes Wide & Open

Do you remember the email you sent me months ago about imagining what my life would be like if I was born in another situation? [Yes, I remember.] I still have it and plan to work on it this week. [Good.] My world view is quite narrow,  but you are correcting that. [Yes, I recognize.] The trip to [redacted to protect the innocent] was a big step.  Thanks for keeping my eyes open[.]

No Prob, “Bob.”

Hope the experience continues to bring great things into your life, such as this post.

Everyone should recognize they are just one out of countless experiences in this world.

Eyeball. Eyes! Keep 'em lookin'. Keep experiencing. Don't settle for what you are told. Challenge it and think for yourself.

Eyeball. Eyes! Keep ’em lookin’. Keep experiencing. Don’t settle for what you are told. Challenge it and think for yourself.

Humans experience.

Nonhuman animals experience.

We all feel and we all see things from a different perspective.

Just because we were born somewhere or told to believe something or raised to fight for a belief, that doesn’t make it (any of it) necessarily right

When I give presentations or speak on panels I usually offer the basic challenge to the people I am there experiencing with. I urge them to not take my word for it but rather to go out and see for themselves. Question. Research. Think. Be critical. Hypothesize. Be wrong. Be right. Be … out there. But BE. Don’t just exist.

THINK. And TAKE ACTION. And CHANGE the world.
